Félix Lebrun, the 17-year-old French table tennis player, made history by winning the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
He triumphed over Brazil's Hugo Calderano in a decisive 4-0 match, marking the first individual Olympic medal for French table tennis since 1992. After the match, an emotional Lebrun expressed his joy, stating it was a dream come true and a moment he would cherish forever.
He credited his coach, Nathanaël Molin, for his significant role in his success.
This victory adds to France's impressive medal tally, as the nation currently stands third in the overall rankings with 42 medals, including 12 golds.
