The Olympic torch has arrived in Paris, marking the final leg of its journey before the 2024 Summer Games.
Former French football star Thierry Henry was spotted running with the torch along the iconic Champs-Elysées on July 14, 2024. Over the next two days, the flame will visit key Parisian landmarks, including the National Assembly, the Arab World Institute, and the Olympic site at Roland-Garros.
This exciting event comes after the torch has traveled through about fifty French departments and overseas territories.
The relay will conclude on July 26, the day of the opening ceremony, when the flame will find its permanent home in the host city for the duration of the Games.
