Teddy Riner has made history by winning his third Olympic gold medal in judo, achieving this remarkable feat in the +100 kg category at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The 35-year-old French judoka defeated reigning world champion Minjong Kim from South Korea in the final, securing victory with a stunning o-soto-gari technique.

With this win, Riner equals the legendary Tadahiro Nomura's record of three individual Olympic titles, previously set in 1996, 2000, and 2004. Riner's impressive career now includes three individual Olympic golds, one team gold, and a record 11 world championship titles, making him the most decorated judoka in Olympic history.
