As the Toussaint school holidays reach their midpoint, French roads are set to experience significant traffic, particularly in Île-de-France.
Bison Futé forecasts a challenging Friday, October 25, with heavy congestion expected in the north-east and on major routes like the A25, A31, and A35. The situation is predicted to worsen in the afternoon as work commuters join holiday travelers.
Saturday will see typical traffic levels, except in Île-de-France, where difficulties will persist.
The long weekend of November 1st is also expected to increase road activity, with Thursday, October 31, marked by dense traffic in the Paris region and on key highways like the A10 and A6. While Friday, November 1, should be calm, Saturday and Sunday will bring further congestion, especially in Île-de-France, as travelers return home.
