Urgent: Premature Baby Abducted in France

Published: 2024-10-22

A 17-day-old premature baby named Santiago was abducted from the maternity ward of Robert Ballanger Hospital in Aulnay-sous-Bois, Seine-Saint-Denis, on Monday night.

The suspects are the infant's parents, a 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, who were last seen leaving the hospital with a handbag, possibly concealing the baby.

Due to the baby's premature condition, constant medical care is crucial, and his survival is at risk without it.

The French government has activated the "Alerte Enlèvement" system to mobilize the public in locating the child.

Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them immediately but advise against personal intervention.
