October ushers in several financial changes for French households.
The government has announced a 3.26% increase in housing aid (APL), benefiting around 6.6 million households.
Additionally, approximately 850,000 retirees will see their pensions rise by an average of €50.94 per month, following the 2023 pension reform.
However, the cost of gas is set to increase by 5.37%, impacting energy bills.
Meanwhile, a pilot program in five departments will simplify administrative processes for social benefits, pre-filling declarations for recipients.
These changes reflect ongoing adjustments in response to economic conditions.
