Traffic on the high-speed rail line connecting Paris to Lyon, Marseille, and Montpellier has been disrupted due to a power outage caused by severe storms in the Yonne region.
The SNCF reported that the interruption began at 7:40 AM on Wednesday and is expected to last until at least 10 AM.
Passengers can expect delays of up to 1 hour and 50 minutes for TGV Inoui and Ouigo trains.
The storms have also led to fallen trees on the tracks, making alternative routes impossible.
Wind gusts have reached up to 99 km/h, causing additional damage and making local travel difficult, particularly on the Nationale 77 between Auxerre and Troyes.
SNCF teams are working to restore normal service as quickly as possible.
