Court Halts Algerian Influencer's Expulsion

The expulsion of Algerian influencer Doualemn Naman from France has been temporarily suspended by a Paris court.

The decision came after the court ruled that the emergency procedure used by Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau was unjustified.

Doualemn, known for controversial TikTok videos, had called for violence against an Algerian regime opponent.

While the court acknowledged the serious threat posed by his actions, it stated that his immediate expulsion lacked legal grounds.

The case has sparked diplomatic tensions between France and Algeria, with the latter refusing to accept his deportation.

Doualemn remains in administrative detention as the Interior Ministry reviews its next steps.
