A violent attack by far-right extremists disrupted an antifascist film screening in Paris on Sunday, February 16. Around 20 masked individuals armed with broken bottles stormed a cultural association for Turkish immigrant workers in the 10th arrondissement, injuring one person with a knife.
The victim, born in 1994, was treated for multiple wounds and discharged from the hospital the same night.
Authorities have arrested six suspects, three of whom are flagged for far-right affiliations.
An investigation into attempted homicide is underway to uncover the attackers' motives.
The incident has drawn widespread condemnation, with calls for justice and resistance against fascism.
