A tragic fire in Nice on July 18 claimed the lives of seven people, including three children.
The incident, linked to a drug trafficking dispute, has led to the identification of five suspects aged between 17 and 25. The fourth suspect, a 17-year-old from Seine-Saint-Denis, was arrested at the Franco-Spanish border on July 30 and has confessed to his involvement, stating he was paid to participate in the crime.
He, along with three others, allegedly broke into the building and set fire to the stairwell.
The victims, who had no connection to the drug trade, included a family of seven.
Authorities are still searching for one remaining suspect, an 18-year-old from Val-d'Oise.
All apprehended suspects face serious charges, including voluntary arson leading to death, which could result in life imprisonment.
