French anti-terrorist police have arrested a 20-year-old neo-Nazi suspect in eastern France.

The man is accused of planning violent actions during the Olympic torch relay.

He allegedly made threats on a Telegram channel called 'French Aryan Division', which he administered.

Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin stated the suspect intended to target politicians and immigrants.

The investigation, led by the National Pole for Combating Online Hate, includes charges of death threats and inciting hatred based on race or religion.

The suspect reportedly threatened a drag queen who was chosen as an Olympic torch bearer in Paris.
