France is bracing for severe weather as Storm Bert brings violent winds to the central-eastern regions.
Météo-France has issued an orange alert for nine departments, including Puy-de-Dôme, Saône-et-Loire, and Rhône, warning of gusts reaching up to 120 km/h.
The storm, which has already caused disruptions in the UK and Ireland, is expected to impact train services significantly.
The SNCF has announced the suspension of several train lines in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, advising travelers to check for updates regularly.
The strong winds are anticipated to weaken by Monday afternoon, but caution is advised for those in affected areas.
