Pan-Africanist activist Kemi Seba, known for his anti-French stance, has lost his French nationality.
A decree published on July 9 in France's Official Journal confirmed the decision.
Seba, born Stellio Gilles Robert Capo Chichi, had previously burned his French passport in public protest.
The 42-year-old Benin resident is accused of being hostile to French interests in Africa and spreading Russian propaganda.
Seba, who still holds Beninese citizenship, has a history of controversial actions, including founding an anti-Semitic group and organizing protests against the CFA franc in Africa.
